Why did you join CrossFit Roseville?
Well I was almost 200lbs and had never been that in my life. So with a little prodding from from a woman who is like a second mom to me, she was doing CrossFit in her 60’s. I figured if she could do it then so could I. So I joined. That was three years ago.
What’s been your biggest accomplishment?
I’d say my biggest accomplishment is just staying on track with eating better, getting stronger and constantly learning more! Doing my first RX Open this year was a big one for me personally.
What are you working on now?
Now, I’m trying to stay in condition for the Nor Cal Classic that four of us qualified for in June. That should be fun! And hot!!
What’s your favorite CrossFit Roseville memory?
My favorite memory has to be from this years Open. Watching Leslie push through the last workout and just pushing all the chips to the center of the table! He finished that workout when so many others didn’t(including myself) and just under the time cap. I did push him a bit, but it was ALL HIM! It was the best!!
What motivates you to continue training at CrossFit Roseville?
The people and my desire to stay healthy are my main motivation for continuing my fitness. I just feel better and it relieves stress from just about anything!! I have mad some amazing friends! So that should about sum it up!
