Why did you join CrossFit Roseville?
My husband was trying out Crossfit Roseville and thought I’d love it as I was having a hard time with a preschooler at the “normal gym” and getting in my workout routine. I wasn’t motivated at all. Crossfit challenged me and kept me accountable. I fell in love!
What’s been your biggest accomplishment?
I think my accomplishments change as my perspective changes. I remember when I started I could barely do a pull-up on the THICKEST band. I remember my first kipping pull-up being a game changer for me – I was so proud of myself! The next big one was chest to bar pull-ups and getting to do them in the Crossfit Open. And then Hand-stand push ups. There is always a new goal to chase – and reaching them is exciting!
What are you working on now?
I would love to get a bar muscle up (and maybe a strict pull up one day!)
What’s your favorite CrossFit Roseville memory?
I loved doing the Women’s Gauntlet and Fittest of Roseville with my teammates from the gym. So fun to cheer each other on and push each other!
What motivates you to continue training at CrossFit Roseville?
I love the people/community that I have here. These are MY people! I love that the workouts are varied and the coaches know how to help each individual with where they are. I love the coaches. I love that I have become a strong woman and a role model to my kids in fitness because of Crossfit Roseville.
