Workout of the day for Saturday 07/07/12:
Three rounds of:
Lateral Jumps over Barbell
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of “rotate”, the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.
It’s the calm before the storm. The competitors are gearing up to head to Carson in a few days, hundreds of volunteers are working to build the stadiums apparatus for the competition floors. Hotels are booked (I think Compton still has some rooms available?) and tens of thousands of fans are gearing up to cheer on the competitors and enjoy the CrossFit community. Are you ready?
