Due you know what the TFL (tensor fascia lata) is?

The TFL is similiar to your front delt (anterior deltoid). It flexes and internally rotates the joint. In this comparison, your glutes (gluteus maximus) is similiar to your rear delt (posterior deltoid).

  1. It’s that thing on my side above my IT band that makes me scream when I put a foam roller or lacrosse ball to it. Supposedly I’m “helping ” loosen it up 😉 It’s why you should do the pigeon stretch after downward facing dog, yes?
