Workout of the Day
Deadlift x 3 reps (with PERFECT posture and mechanics)
* Set 1 – 50% of possible 3-RM x 5 reps
* Set 2 – 75% of possible 3-RM x 3 reps
* Set 3 – 85% of possible 3-RM x 2 reps
* Set 4 – 90-95% of possible 3-RM x 1 rep
* Set 5 – Test 3-RM
* Set 6 (optional) – Exceed Set 5 weight for 3-RM
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 7 minutes of:
7 Box Jumps (24″/18″)
7 Kettlebell Swings (24/16 kg)
If you are interested in being more competitive in CrossFit (i.e. working on your weaknesses, competing in local competitions, and raising your athletic ability to perform better in the open, training for Regionals, etc.) I will be discussing training/goal setting/ nutrition/ and other aspects that will help you be more competitive at 10:00am this Saturday after the morning classes.
Bring your log book for your: lifts, benchmark wods, monostructural times (2k row, 400m sprint, 5k run), etc. Bring a snack for after your workout. RSVP verbally or via comment on this post.
