Workout of the Day for Tuesday April 30, 2013

As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
8 Hang Power Cleans, 135/95 pounds
12 Burpees
Run 400 meters

  1. Umm, there wasn’t one true straight body Flag there and that P-bar stuff is fairly simple. No even swing to HS. Swing or press to shoulderstand is rather simple as are forward straddle rolls (though they are bit uncomfortable at first).

    Nor did she do any body levers/dragon flag.

    She does move very fluid with awesome flexibility. I’ll give her that. Very good active straddle flexibility in her straddle sit press to Handstand.

    And of course her polework is pretty damn good. Heh.

  2. I’m not a hater exactly, but a lot of what she is doing is L5/6ish. Well, except the polework.

    Last I heard Olympic Lifting and Squatting is part of CrossFit. And occasionally I lift out of their boxes.

    CrossFit on Saturdays, I’m tempted by Outlaw but want to focus on OlympicLifting at this point to make a run for Nationals.

    However, if I get too busy with work and can’t lift, I’m pretty much gonna throw the towel in and CrossFit; especially if I go abroad.
