Is it worth it?
When people first try CrossFit Roseville, they are blown away. Blown away by how hard a simple little 5 letter anagram like ‘amrap’ can be. Blown away by how sore they get. Blown away when they are asked to come back and do it again.
Inevitably, we all ask ourselves “Is it worth it?”
Translated, what we are asking is, “Will the result be worth the pain and discomfort? Will the reward be worth the work?”
If by result/reward you mean the sense of accomplishment, the sense of completion, and the sense of satisfaction, then yes, it will be worth it.
If by result/reward you mean the production and manifestation of your own physical power and athleticism, protection from injury, and the quality of life increase that comes from being able to move well, then yes, it will be worth it.
If by result/reward you mean the changing of your body by losing body fat and gaining lean muscle, then yes, it will be worth it.
