Matt Crouse attended the Level 1 CrossFit Trainers course a couple of weekends ago – here are his thoughts:

To put it in one word; awesome!  Not the Bill and Ted version of awesome, but the truly awe-inspiring version.

A weekend spent with Neal Maddox, Katie Hogan, Gabe Subry, and Miranda Oldroyd.  Between demos, instruction, break outs, and actual workouts I learned a lot.  The basis for the weekend is the Level 1 Training Guide, on the main site and free to all.  http://journal.crossfit.com/2010/05/crossfit-level-1-training-guide.tpl  I strongly recommend anyone that sees themselves doing Crossfit longer than a month read this.  It is educational and eye opening.  To anyone thinking of going to a Level 1 course; go.  No matter what your plans are with Crossfit it is a fantastic weekend to include in your journey.  Plus they give you beer after the WOD!
