A moment of sportsmanship that’s worth taking a look at from earlier this month in Saudi soccer:

According to ESPN, Al-Nahda and Al-Ittihad were playing a tight match when Al-Nahda’s goalkeeper Taisir Al Antaif received a back pass from his teammate and realized his shoe had come undone. As he tried in vain to get the referee’s attention, an Al-Ittihad striker came up to him. And while it may have been easy at this point to take the ball and score a goal, he instead bent down and tied his opponents shoe.

The official, clearly not getting in the spirit of sportsmanship and good deeds, called a penalty and awarded Al-Ittihad an indirect free kick. Being perhaps the greatest soccer team of all time, they booted the ball out of play.
