This February marks 1 year into CrossFit and healthy eating for me. 1 year ago I weighed 172 lbs. and had a high body fat % and felt sluggish!
In 2012 I had a See’s candy addiction and it safe to say I’ve eaten over 1,500 pieces of See’s candy in 2012 and still maintained a fit lifestyle due to following PALEO. I was very happy with my progression in 2012. As 2013 came and February marking my 1 year staying committed to my health and fitness I knew I needed to step it up a notch. So I gave up See’s and was fortunate to commit to a BOX at CrossFit Roseville w/ great coaches and w/ my contiuned Bay Area support from Rainer Ranier Gadduang and James Weiss from CrossFit Burlingame.
I look forward to this next year,,, because I believe it takes 2 years before your body to get in it’s groove and physically look right & tight! I ain’t gonna lie,,, I turn 45 this year and I wanna be that dude, husband, father, friend that can inspire ppl in their 40’s and it’s not to late to be fit in there 40’s… and shoot I wanna be able to wear my “board shorts” below my waist line and not above my belly button!!! haha!!!
Can’t thank Riza Gadduang Gerodias and my kids enough for allowing me the balance in my life to stay fit and for Riza being the BEST health chef I know! “remember, fitness starts in the kitchen, and the BOX is secondary” If you ain’t eating clean don’t waste your time in the BOX! “jus’sayin”
Today I weigh 153 lbs. and less body fat % than last year. I have a new addiction; PHILZ Coffee – “Jacobs Wanderbar” baby, Dynamo Donuts “Maple Apple Bacon” & Kouigh Amann,,, luckily for me those spots are not close to me… first and last stop when I visit my city by the bay SFC! —
